The life of a uni student means (almost always) you're.. broke. I was thinking about getting a tablet to try my hand at digital art, but since there are other commitments, I reverted to good ol' traditional art. And I'm enjoying it. From smelly oil pastels to 2D pencil sketches, I realise I should master this first before I jump into something completely new.. besides, I can't handle too many hours staring at the computer screen (and for a perfectionist, you can't avoid that). So cheers to all who have commented on my artwork so far, it means a lot. Right now, I'm working on two traditional artworks - a portrait sketch and a large painting of Zelda's Twilight Princess... I'm sorta psyched and scared to death. It feels like a commission since the person I'm painting and sketching for bought me the art supplies (including a canvas! EEP!) so here I go... *sketches away*
